The brief
I run an independent neighborhood bicycle repair shop. Many customers find us on their phones, but they still have to call to ask whether we handle their repair and how to request an appointment. I need a straightforward website that explains our services and makes it easy to send a repair request. Our customers are commuters and recreational riders. The main goal is to turn a visit into a qualified repair request. A rider should be able to choose a bike type, describe the issue, enter a preferred service date, and leave contact details. After submitting, they should see a clear confirmation that the shop will review the request and confirm availability separately. Show common services such as flat-tire repair, brake and gear adjustments, tune-ups, and repairs that need an assessment. Keep service details easy for a shop owner to update. I have not supplied business hours, a service area, prices, a logo, or customer reviews, so use obvious editable placeholders for those details instead of making them up. For this challenge, the request form is a front-end prototype. It should validate required fields and show a confirmation state, but it must not send or store real customer information. Build a polished, approachable experience that works on phones and desktop, with clear labels, keyboard access, visible focus and error states, and no unnecessary steps. A first-time visitor should understand what the shop can help with and how to request service.
Required deliverables

- A clear home page with a repair-focused headline, a prominent request-service action, and editable descriptions for common repair services.
- A working repair-request prototype that collects bike type, repair issue, preferred date, and contact details, validates required fields, and shows a confirmation state without transmitting or storing personal information.
- Editable placeholders for hours, service area, prices, and shop contact details; do not add invented reviews, ratings, or business claims.
- A short handoff with the live URL and any setup or editing notes, plus the complete prompt history used to create the build.
How selection works
The poster picks one entry after the deadline and the winner gets the full prize. Only the winning build goes public.
The full selection rules
The poster reviews submitted builds and chooses one entry for the award. Entries are sealed until the entry deadline: builders can update theirs until then, and the poster sees every entry only after it passes. The poster then has 7 days to decide. We send reminders and contact support if the decision is overdue. If nobody submits by the deadline, the poster can close the bounty for a full refund. Once an entry exists, the poster must select one.
Only the winning entry is published, with the bounty and on its builder’s profile. Every other entry stays visible only to its builder and the poster.
The poster funds the prize through Stripe before the bounty opens. The selected builder receives the full posted prize through Stripe payouts; the 10% service fee is billed separately to the poster.
